The List

Help us make a comprehensive list of as many movies, TV movies and TV shows you can think of that featured female swordplay.

I haven't seen all of these movies yet, many of them were actually mentioned in Foster3D's writings, and are probably worth checking out if you have the opportunity.

New titles are being added constantly.

Sorry,

I have solemnly and so sadly had to be egregiously elsewhere for almost an entire week, but I will warrant I will be back to finish or furnish more findings in fencing females!

I did not know that you were willfully and warranted my wierd wayward comments into a list, but I will basically try and occasionally bring other overt swashbucklers to your attentive assidiously attention shortly.

Must frightfully fleee for now!

It's alright to take a holiday, Foster3D, don't worry. I'll be away for a few weeks later this summer, too.
Yes, I went through many of your previous posts and started the list with the movies you brought to light in those posts.
Thanks again for your innumerable invaluable infinite contributions of knowledge to this board, and keep up the good work. Karma (+).

Re: The List

Monica Vitti! Of course. Please add a mis-rated film she made with Tony Curtis:
"On My Way to the Crusades, I Met a Girl Who..."
aka "The Chastity Belt."

The subject was a chastity belt and Monica's search for the key so she could embrace her un-consummated husband. The Balkan Christian/Muslim struggle was the setting.

A comedy where she wins one sword fight, and is about to lose the second when... Lots of unexpectedly clanking as she moves or sits down.

The sexual/violence ratings were new when this came out. Someone, "The King of Prussia," rated it X. Killed the distribution. At most, the film is PG by today's standards IMO.
